One question I get from a lot of people is how do I become a Tulsa Real Estate Agents Well, it’s not an easy task and it takes a lot of determination, a lot of time and a lot of effort, so I’m just going to walk you through the steps, real, quick of what to be aware of and what you need to do in order to become a Tulsa Real Estate Agents and so that you can sell real estate in the state of oklahoma. There are a lot of schools out there. You can take classes online, you can take classes in the physical sense. You know each broker has their own course, and then there is independent schools as well. I know. I took my class through an independent school and I know:people who taking classes online and from what I’ve been told that and just from what I’ve heard from friends who have taken classes online, online, classesare harder and you just you-don’t get very much support to you’re pretty much on your own. When you actually take the physical class, you do get a lot of support. You actually meet a lot of people. I know that I had study partners and you know I had help from the professor at any time that I needed it just seemed to be a lot easier for me. But I also think that it’s going to be a matter of preference on you know what type of learner you are as well. Tulsa Real Estate Agents So pretty much you go through the basics of the 90 clock hour class and you have to buy the end of the course depending on. If you take a fast-track course or ridiculous 6 6 week course, I took saturday course and I know a lot of Tulsa Real Estate Agents who had taken the fast track horses as well, which is like a week or two week course, and to me that is just extremely insane and if abecause, if you’re, not in real estate and you’re taking this class, you literally are learning a foreign language, so anyways you get for that course, and you have to pass the school exam. The school exam is at elite, 200 question at least an 80%. Once you pass the 80% and you will then be given a certificate showing that you took the class there’s some steps you have to fill out the application you’re actually applying to be a provisional sales associate for your first year, not a sales associate, your very first general state, your called a provisional sales associate, and during that time, your one-year provisional time you have to take additional 405 o’clock hours in order to obtain your sales associate license. So you have to you, have to millenia check for your $60. You have to have fingerprint cards. Do you have to show proof of identity which is typically like a birth certificate and I’m at that point, get the application. You get everything ready and you submit it mail it off today or are you see and every house real estate agent has to do this and then everyone has to go to the same steps in order to, but once you submit your information to o r e c e, pretty much then have to wait for them to get you in their system. Sometimes they might not have the background check completed yet and that’s okay, you can still take the exam without having the background check. However, if you pass your exam and your background check has not been completed, then you have to wait in order to get your license. So what they do, try to teach you or they tell you. I can remember my first day of school and they said you need. If you want to be a real state agent, you you need to get your stuff in order and you need to go ahead and start. You have a provisional license in the very beginning, so you have to take this 21 hours, post licensing courses and in most brokerages, whether you work for coldwell, banker or keller williams reven, a spa broker, but most of the major brokerages have toast license courses for you that you can take through the brokerage, which I did that and it took me i, don’t know it took me several months to get your mind because I was just going one day a week, not every week. Some brokers is how to set up where you can get through everything in 2 weeks, and you know you can be done with it. They obviously just getting your post license. Think. A lot of people think that becoming a Tulsa Real Estate Agents is easy and it’s quick money and really it’s not. It takes a lot of hard work. It takes a lot of effort and determination on your part yeah it’s hard to get your license, but the hard part is actually getting in and making money. You know, because, once you get your license, you think it’s okay, I have my license now. What do you know where do I get my business and not and that’s the hard part right there? Where do you get your business and that’s probably going to be safe for another podcast? But you know it just takes a lot of time and effort in order to get through everything. Exam fee is not only do you have to pay for real estate school, which is anywhere from 3 50 to $450, that you have to pay for to take the exam so like an examination fee is $60 if you’re sitting for your broker’s exam. That $75, then also there’s a lot of other fees that are going to come into play after you get your license because then you’ll have to pay your dues at your annual dues record early do so it could be a little bit costly in the beginning, especially if you don’t have a lot of money to start out, but once you do get started and you get going, then you know everything should be fine, just got to start selling some houses so anyways. If your license, you have to take the real estate course. If you want to be a possible estate agent and you have to pass the school exam with at least an 80% now the state exam is a little different. You don’t have to have an 80. They only require a 75 percentage to pass, but there’s some really great test prep stuff online and what really helped me was a course called prep agent, which they have a lot of free videos on youtube. That really help you understand and really learn the terminology and vocabulary that you need to know in order to pass the exam. On top of that, there’s a lot of things out there, but just you know honestly what I would do is sit there and study the vocabulary words in the back of the book. But you know it is hard work, there’s a lot of things that you got to do and then the hardest part after that is, you know, getting out there and selling real estate, and that’s the next question. What what do I do once I get my license in order to start real estate. Well, a lot of people will join teams and I think that’s wonderful opportunity for people to get in and learn because you have a really big support system to help teach you and help. You grow eventually a lot of people. We will, you know, leave the team and go off in the round once they know how to do the business, but really just getting out their networking socializing talking to people. It’s a big part of your business is talking to people and just getting yourself out there, whether it’s and you trying to join a real estate team or whether it’s you trying to drum up business anyways.
